Choosing the Right Finish for Your Indoor Poster
We offer four options of paper finish for your indoor poster: matt, satin, photo gloss.
Matt Premium:
Matt poster paper doesn’t reflect light and is well suited to black and white posters, less detailed posters, and posters that will be viewed in well-lit settings. A key benefit of matt poster paper is that smudges aren’t visible on it so you don’t have to worry so much about keeping your poster clean.
Satin Premium:
Satin poster paper provides a middle ground between photo gloss and matt paper. It showcases colours, details and contrasts very well, but doesn’t produce as much glare as photo gloss paper. Smudges are also less visible on this type of paper so it’s possible to display this type of poster without a protective cover.
Gloss Premium:
Photo gloss paper is reflective and helps to showcase the colours and details of your poster, especially useful if the poster will be viewed in a low-light setting. Photo gloss paper shows dirt and fingerprints so is best covered with glass or plastic. In settings with very bright lighting, gloss paper can be too reflective and mean the graphic is difficult to see from all angles.

We print our outdoor posters on a durable weatherproof paper in a choice of blue-backed or SyntiSOL plastic paper using eco-friendly waterproof inks. Recommended for short term use, the pastable blue-backed paper is designed specifically for outdoor use and is crack and flake resistant – even if it is folded after getting wet. At 125gsm thickness it’s thicker than the industry standard, making it more durable and easier to hang. The blue-backing also prevents the background surface from showing through the poster. This is a budget outdoor poster paper which is often used for events posters and billboards. Due to the texture of this material, the print quality can be reduced compared to printing on other poster material and is recommended for larger posters viewed from a distance. The blue-backing on the material may result in artwork darkening slightly.
A2 Posters
We print all of our indoor posters on durable, thick poster paper so you don’t need to laminate them. However, laminating can help to protect your poster so that it lasts longer. We offer three laminating options: matt, gloss (dry-wipeable) and antimicrobial. Matt and gloss are self-explanatory, and the antimicrobial laminate consists of thin film that delivers over 99.99% protection against bacteria, parasites and fungi.
A3 posters
Struggling to design your poster artwork? No problem! Just select the ‘Design & Print’ option and choose the standard or advanced package, if you’re not sure which suits your needs best please contact us. Any assets you have, such as logos or imagery can then be uploaded and a design brief left in the notes section. Next proceed through to checkout to pay for your indoor poster. A4 Posters
We can print up to 2A0 size (1682mm by 1189mm). We print standard poster sizes as well as custom sizes. How wide we can print in one piece depends on the material being used. Any custom sizes wider than the roll width will be split into sections. The roll widths are as follows: - 180gsm Matt - 1520mm - 210gsm Satin - 1520mm - 225gsm Photo Gloss - 1520mm Please leave us a note if you have any preference on how we split your poster.

How do I order a poster?

How do I order the correct size?
It is advisable to order your poster a few millimetres larger than you require in order to account for any measurement or surface deficiencies. We advise that there may be up to a 3mm size tolerance on your finished poster. This can be due to a variety of factors such as trimming, temperatures, and lamination processes.
What format should my artwork be in?

Can I upload more than one image per order?
If you’re ordering more than one poster of the same size, and have various pieces of artwork to supply, our uploader will allow you to add as many images as you need to complete you order.
Can you colour match?
Our printers produce CMYK images and artwork supplied in this format will be printed with the colour values stated. We do offer a personalised colour matching service please contact our sales office for more information and pricing.
Can you edit my artwork?
Yes, we can make amendments to your artwork. For this you will need to select one of our design services, which will allow for approx 1 hour or 2 hours design time depending on the package you choose.
Can I collect from store?
If it is convenient for you to collect or arrange collection from our factory in Manchester, you can select this option during the checkout process.
